14 Graduands from CBPS Awarded Doctor of Philosophy Degrees at the 64th Graduation Ceremony
The 64th graduation celebration was held virtually today 11th December. This is the second graduation the university is holding virtually since the pandemic.
The College Physical of Biological Sciences awarded Doctor of Philosophy Degrees (PHD’S) to 14 graduands during this auspicious occasion. 4 from the school of biological sciences (SBS), 1 from the school of mathematics, 5 from the school pf physical sciences (SPS) and 4 from the institute of climate change and adaptation (ICCA).
At the ceremony, over 5000 graduands were awarded diplomas and conferred with degrees. there were 66 doctor of philosophy degree awards, 2 fellowship awards, 1,206 master degree awards, 69 post graduate diploma awards, 4,018 bachelor degree awards and 348 diploma awards.
Prof. Ojiambo, who is the Chair of UoN Council, was awarded Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) in Leadership while Prof. Mugo was awarded Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) in Literature.
