LECTURER, DEPARTMENT OF GEOLOGY -1 POST-AC/4/142/15- (CBPS)

Applicants must be holders of a PhD degree in Petroleum Geology from a recognized university.

Applicants with a Masters degree in relevant area and have at least three years teaching experience at university level / petroleum exploration in any of the following options:- Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Geochemistry, Stratigraphy, Petroleum Exploration, Basin Modelling, Petrophysics and have registered for a PhD degree in relevant area will also be considered. They should have research experience, with at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or two chapters in scholarly books. They should show evidence of continuing research activity.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise at both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Petroleum Geology & Petroleum Geochemistry and undertake further research in their areas of specialization and also participate in School’s activities.
